Add a touch of rustic charm to your bedroom with our Handmade End‑of‑Bed Bench with Shelf, crafted from reclaimed scaffold boards full of character and history.
 
Each board is around 22.5cm deep.
 
Because we use reclaimed timber, every bench is wonderfully unique — you can expect natural quirks like knots, splits, small cracks, slight bows, dents, old markings and the occasional hint of its previous working life. These features are what make each piece truly one of a kind.
 
Each bench is assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joints, along with dowel‑covered screws for extra strength and durability. This gives every piece a solid, long‑lasting construction while keeping the rustic look beautifully clean and seamless.
 
You can choose how you’d like your bench finished: • Sanded smooth, stained for a clean, refined rustic look. You may add wax or varnish after purchase. • Distressed and rough‑finished for a deeper, more rugged farmhouse feel (Please message with your choice of finish once purchased).
 
We also offer free personalisation of your choice — family name, date, or a meaningful quote. This will be fire‑written onto your bench.
 
We offer three beautiful colour options — Light Oak, Medium Oak and Dark Oak. Shades may vary slightly due to the nature of reclaimed wood, adding even more individuality to each piece. Please note we use non‑toxic, chemical‑free wood stain. This is not a varnish or wax.
 
Every bench is made to order in our little two‑person Yorkshire workshop, with a turnaround time of 2–5 weeks depending on how busy we are.
Bespoke sizes are always welcome — just send us your measurements and we’ll happily make one to fit your space perfectly.
